Who we are

We began with one program, Camp Simcha

Two decades later we have grown and now offer 25 programs, fostering resilience and hope for families.

Our work

How it started

See how we’ve grown

Camp Simcha is a medically supervised summer camp created for children with cancer and other serious illness. What began with one camp grew into a lifeline of year-round support for the entire family.

    A Growing Need in Canada

As more children from Canada began attending Camp Simcha, it became clear that families needed access to dedicated support and programming closer to home, throughout the year.

    Building Localized Support

In response, Chai Lifeline Canada expanded its presence, developing programs specifically designed to meet the needs of children facing illness and their families.

    Evolving With Families’ Needs

Chai Lifeline Canada has continued to grow rapidly, identifying new challenges families face and creating meaningful services and resources to address them.
